Abstract :In this study, problems of farmers in providing and use of some important seeds were examined in the Lower Seyhan Project Area. Almost all of the farmers interviewed are aware of positive effects of new technology on production. However, inadequate capital and some problems of agricultural input markets limit the use of desired material and methods in production. It was found that if resarch, production, distribution and credit chain of high-yielding seeds are well organized, production will increase substantially in the region.
