Abstract :This study has been conducted to determine the relationships between yield components and growing points of LT/544/84, LT/1714/83 tri ticale, Gerek79 bread wheat and Çakmak-9 durum wheat varieties and Tokak-157/37 barley variety, on Konya ecological conditions in 1988- 1989 growing season. According to the one year results of the trial in dry conditions; Gerek-79 bread wheat and LT/544/84 triticale varieties have been found to have important differences in respect of yield components and especially grain yield comparing to the other varieties. The timing of developmental stages of these varieties was nearly equal although a wide range of diffe- rences occured in the others. The duration of leaf primordia stages of the same varieties were found shorter but a longer spike primordia and spike development was lived in each in comparison with the other varieties. Barley was the earliest in every developmental stage and headed earlier than all. Keywords : tahıl, verim, araştırma
