An Investigation on The Fish Consumption in Konya

Abstract :A poll were taken in order to determine fish consumption and factors affect this in Konya. Annual fish consumption were determined 5.5 kg per by person at this guestionnoire. Fishes were found insufficient by kind at the fish market of Konya. Anchovy and Horse mackerel were the most prefered fishes. It appears that the consumers prefer fish meat for its pleasure and nutritive value. Frying them is the most prevalent consumption type. It was fixed that while the income of families affects fish consumption amount, their education levels don\\\'t affects it.
