Abstract :The research are was located along the road of Konya-Çumra in Konya Çumra plain. This area consists demage pasture and high in lime content and also this area is begun partly irrigation. This study was carried out on the area of 300 hectares representing this area. According to the results obtained, the soils of the research area were seperated into two groups from the stand point of the hydraulic conductivity and the total drainable pores. In the calculation of drain space, Glover-Dumm formule was used. Drain diameter of 0.10 m and the drain filled with water were assumed. In the first groups of soils, the depth of the drain was found to be 1.2 m The drain space was determined to be 85 m for the field crops and 70 m for the forage crops. In the second area, the depth of the drain was found to be 1.3 m the drain space was determined to be 65 m for the field crops and 53 m for the forage crops.
