Abstract :This investigation was carried to find out DTPA extractable Fe, Zn, Mn and Cu content of the soils in Konya-Ereğli and Çumra areas, and also to elucidate the relationships between the available Fe, Zn, Mn and Cu and some properties of the soils. In this research, it was found that the amount of Fe, Zn, Mn and Cu extracted with DTPA, fell between 1.80-8.60 ppm, 0.36-0.98 ppm, 0.80-6.80 ppm and 0.20-2.20 ppm respectively. There were significant correlations between the amounts of available Fe, Zn, Mn, Cu and clay content of the soils (r=0.774**, г=-0.534*, r=- 0.530*, г=0.571* respectively). It was also found statistically significant relationships (r=-0.712**, г=-0.595** respectively) between available Mn and CaCO3 and organic matter contents of the soils. Available Cu content and cation exchange capacity of the soil was highly correlated to each other (r=0.582*). On the other hand, the correlation coefficients between available Fe, Zn, Mn and Cu contents of the soils and the other soil properties investigated were not found to significant statistically.
