The Relationship Between Blood Potassium Level and Fattening Gain in Akkaraman And Akkaraman x Ivesi Crossbred Lambs

Abstract :The purpose of this study to put forward to be a relationship between blood potassium levels and fattening gain in Akkaraman and Akkara manxİvesi crossbred lambs which were fed with fattening ration for 55 days. 28 Akkaraman and 10 Akkaramanxivesi ram lambs which have been weaned, were used as research material. Blood potassium type was found monomorph, therefore relationship between blood potassium levels and fattening gain was examined as a quantitativelly. Relationship between blood potassium levels and body weight gain for 28 days in Akkaraman ram lambs was found significant (P<0.05), however relationship between blood potassium levels and body weight gain for all the fattening period was not significant.Keywords : Akkaraman İvesi Kuzuları, Besi, Canlı Ağırlık
