Comparison of Sille (Konya) and Bandırma Dağlıç Sheep by Some Blood Parameters

Abstract :The distribution of blood potassium levels and types of blood potassium and hemoglobin were evaluated in Sille and Bandırma Dağlıç sheep. The differents between these genotypes were compared for related blood parameters. The frequencies of low potassium type (LK) were 0.73 and 0.60 in Sille and Bandırma Dağlıç sheep, KL gene frequencies were 0.48 and 0.13, respectively. Respectively, in Sille and Bandırma Dağlıç sheep, the frequencies were 0.0208 and 0.0000, 0.0417 and 0.0903, 0.9375 and 0.9070 for Hb A, Hb AB and Hb B types. The frequencies of Hb A gene were found as 0.04 and 0.05 in Sille and Bandırma Dağlıç sheep, respectively.
