Optimal Organisations and Sufficient Income Farm Size at The Yükselen and Malas Villages of Selçuklu County of Konya Province

Abstract :This research was held on 35 farms at 1995 to determine the minumum farm size that would provide sufficient income and also to achieve optimal farm organisation. Therefore data was collected by using the inquiry method and farm planning was achieved by lineer programming method. Average gross profit for a farmer family were 92.984.376 TL for the first farm group (1-25 da), 108.709.110 TL for the second farm group (26-50 da), 160.060.425 TL for the third farm group (51-+ da). The Average of farms was 121.387.757 TL. According to the results of planning 49.15%, 63.35% and 67.72% gross profit Increase seemed possible in the farm that takes place in the first group (average land 11.13 decar), the second group (land 43.84 da), the third group (land 78.34 da) respectively by an optimal organisation. In addition the size of the smallest enterprise that which would provide sufficlent income for a farmer family was determined 43.37 decar, by using values 1995.Keywords : Yeter Gelirli, Selçuklu, Optimal İşletme
