Abstract :Population developments of Sttobion avenae (F.), Diuraphis noxia (Kurdjumov) and Sipha (Rungsta) elegans Del Guercio, common cereal aphid species in Konya province, were weekly observed in the study carried out during 1989-1990 in five localities of the province. S. avenae was determined as a species occurring earlier, generally forming higher population and staying longer time on the plant than the others. D. noxia and S. (Rungsia) elegans, the species occuring later, formed lower population level related with wheat growth period. The effect of parasitism on population of each aphid species on wheat was very low.
