Abstract :In this study the aim was to bring up results from experiments on the seed treatment against smut in wheat until last years in Turkey. In the experiments, formulations containing many ingredient matters was used but only 18 of them were found effective against smut. Formulations containing 2.5% fenpiclonil DS. 205+205 g/L carboxin + thiram FS. 19% dint canozole DS. 2% difenocanozole DS and 2.5 % triticanozole DS were registered to control smut from 1988 to 1997.
