Abstract :An investigation was conducted to determine the suitable sowing dates of some summer rapeseed varieties at Konya Premises in 1994. Summer varieties named as \\\"Drakkar\\\", \\\"Sezar\\\", \\\"Westar\\\" and \\\"Proto 87\\\" were sown with ten days interval, starting 8 of April (8. 18 and 28 of April. 1994). The seed yield and yield components (plant height, number of secondary branches per plant, number of pod per plant, number of seed per pod, 1000 seeds weight and seed oil rate) were determinated from the varieties in the study. According to the results obtained from this study, effects of the sowing dates and varieties on seed yield was significant. Average the varieties, the highest seed yield was obtained from first sowing date (8 April) as of 192.05 kg/da. This was followed by 178.69 kg/da on 18 April, and then 158.65 kg/da on 28 April. According to the avarages of the sowing days the highest seed yield was 192.05 kg/da from \\\"Westar\\\" variety. The seed yields of other varieties were 185.37, 173.68 and 151.97 kg/da from \\\"Sezar\\\", \\\"Proto 87\\\" and \\\"Drakkar\\\", respectively. It was found that the yield and yield components decreased releated to lated sowing dates. Keywords : ekim zamanı, tohum veriml, Yazlık Kolza (
