Abstract :During two years was applicated this winter sugar beets research in R.C.B. design. The treatments included two different concentrations of Barban, Cycloate, Dalapon, Metolachior, Phenmedipham and Pyrazon herbicides in addition to mechanical, hand weeding and control. Weeds and sugar beets samples were taken during the growing seasons and the following studies were: 1. Numbers of weeds and its dry weights. 2. Fresh root weights, percent of Brix, total leaf area and number of leaves in each sugar beet plant. The treatment of pyrazon 6 kg/ha was significantly important in weed control and it did not affect the growth of sugar beet plants during both growing seasotis, so it is dependable treatment between all treatments.Keywords : Yabancı ot mücadele ilaçları, şeker, pancar
