Abstract :This study was conducted to determine the relationships among yield components of S1. S2 and S3 selfed pop corn lines (Zea mays var. everta) in 1996 and 1997 in Antalya. For the traits studied (plant height, ear height, days to tasseling, ear length, number of rows, sceds in a row and thousand kernel weight), there were not any differences among generations but significant differences (P<0.05) were observed by only for the days to tasseling among lines. The significant positive correlation coefficients were found between plant height and ear height, number of rows in ear and number of kernels in a row. The highest correlation coefficient value was determined as 0.95 between plant and ear height in S 1 generation.
