Abstract :In rural areas women play an important role in livestock development activities in, rural households they perform major tasks in animal feeding and general care. The women\\\'s working who form the majority of working-Power in agriculture sector is evaluated like an \\\"additional working-power\\\" besides the man. The real contributions of the women who are in status of \\\"unpaid family worker\\\" to the economy of home and country have not been determined with scientific studies yet. Therefore it must be taken in to consideration every time that village woman has a quite important place in economic and social structure of home. The aim of this study is to state, on the role of women in developing animal husbandry in the rural area in Konya province.
