Abstract :The birth weight and gestation period were 4.67 kg and 150.2 days and their repeatabilities 0.113 and 0.144, respectively. Effect of year factor on these characteristics was statistically significant (P<0.01), but the effect of ewe age was not significant. Birth weight of single born lambs were heigher than twins (4.99 vs. 4.36 kg), and the male were heavier than female (4.82 vs. 4.52 kg) lambs (P<0.01). The gestation period was longer for male than female lambs (150.5 vs. 149.9 days), and was not different for single or twin born lambs. The correlation coefficient between gestation period and birth weight was 0.1340±0.027 (P<0.01).Keywords : AKKARAMANLARDA DOĞUM AĞIRLIĞI, BGEBELİK SÜRESİ, DERECE
