The Effects of Different Nitrogen Doses on the Fatty Acid Compositions of Westar Summer Rapeseed Variety

Abstract :This research was conducted to determine the effects of different nitrogen doses on the fatty acid composition of summer rapeseed variety Westar which adapted in Konya conditions. In this research, fatty acid composition of grain which was obtained from plats applied 0, 7, 14 and 21 kg.da-1 nitrogen was examined gase chromatographic method. According to the by results, linoleik, linolenic and erusic acid were maximum (37.53%, 13.34%, 2.49%) while oleic acid was minimum level (29.59%) at N 14 doses. The fatty acid rate was different also at other nitrogen doses.
