A Research on The Determination of Morphological Characteristics of Breed Wheat Cultivars Grown under Ecological Conditions of Konya Province and Relationships Between These Characteristics and Grain Yield

Abstract :This research was conducted under the ecological condition in Konya by using with cultivars \\\"Bezostaya 1\\\", \\\"Bolal 2973\\\", \\\"Gerek 79\\\", \\\"Kırkpınar 79\\\", \\\"Ak 702\\\", \\\"Atay 85\\\" and \\\"Kıraç 66\\\" and the advance lines, \\\"ES 14\\\", \\\"ES 86/7\\\" and \\\"ES 86/8\\\" grain yield, the number of fertile spikelets and grains per spike, grain weight per spike, total area of flag leaf blade and sheath, the area of flag leaf sheath and blade separetely, plant height, 1000 kernel weight, the number of plants per m2 were maesured and other characteristics releated to spike and leaf were observed. In this research, which was carried out under rainfed conditions using Completes Random experimental Design, ten different measurments were made and significant relationships between grain weight per spike, the number of fertile spiklet and grain per spike and yield were determinated.
