Abstract :This research was conducted to determine the effects of different sowing dates on vegetation duration and GDD (Growing Degree Days) for different development stages of \\\"TTM-813\\\" hybrid corn variety in Konya ecological conditions in 1984. The research was aranged to split plot experimental design with three replications. In the research, vegetation duration and GDD for seedling emergence, stem elongation, tasseling and silking time, the duration between silking and harvesting time and the duration between sowing and harvesting time were determined. The effects of different sowing dates were significant statistically on vegetation duration and GDD for different development stages mentioned above. The results showed that maize plant required the certain GDD units for completing development in Konya ecological condition. Keywords : : Mısır, Ekim zamanı, Büyüme dönemleri, Vejetasyon
