Abstract :This research was carried out to determine effects of cutting time and phosphorus doses on yield and quality characters of sainfoin in Isparta ecological conditions in 1998-1999 years. As a result of this experiment, according to two years average it was determined that cutting times had statistically significant indication on effected with green matter yield, dry matter and crude protein yield except plant height. The effects of phosphorus doses were found highly significant for all investigated characters. The highest green matter yield, dry matter yield, crude protein yield and plant height were obtained from 5-10 kg/da phosphorus doses application plots.
