Abstract :In this research, the relations between child and playing, importance of Child Playgrounds in the Open - Green Areas, characteristics of child playing implementations, planting styles in playgrounds, sitting and resting groups and structural possibilities were evaluated in Çanakkale City. Child Playgrounds of Çanakkale were analyzed within landscape planning criterias and some proposals were suggested.
