A Research on Determination of Differences among Common Vetch (Vicia sativa L.) Lines

Abstract :This research was conducted to determine the differences among comnion vetch lines which were used 33 common vetch samples. Samples of Erzurum L-147 (Kara Elçi) and Ürem- 79 were registered varieties. One of them was village population which has been sown in Konya and surroundings. Other 30 nuinber were provided from the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Selçuk. In the research, cmergence, 50% flowering, number of days to harvest, plant height, habitus, inain branch number, bottom pod height, pod shattering, pod number per plant, leaf length, leaflet width, leaflet length, leaflet number per leaf, seed yield per plant, 1000 seed weight and stand number were determined as agricultural characters. F-107 line produced more normal seed with 60.2% than other samples. It can be useful use of F-107 in brecding studies because it had superior tolerance against the unusual climatic conditions.
