Abstract :This study was conducted to determine the effects of different phosphorous and zinc fertilizer application on physical and chemical properties of maize, ANT-90 species for two different application times in an highly calcerous soils (% 37.5 CaCO3) of Konya- Central Çomaklı Village. In study, four different doses of phosphorus (0-4-8-12 kg P2O5 /da) and zinc (0-0.5-1.5-4.5 kg Zn/da) were applied during the periods sowing and after sowing stages. The results showed that, plant height, the dry matter yield of maize tops and roots, nitrogen, phosphorous, potasium, zinc content with zinc and phosphorous contents uptaken by root zone depth and maize tops are given as; the difference found different zinc and phosphorous applications was not found significant statistically for P<0.01 significance level. The dry inatter contents rised notably by an increment doses of zinc and phosphorous, and these were found higher with an increment of zinc doses. The highest dry matter contents were obtained from como doses (o kg 1205/da and 4.5 kg Zn/da) in application of zinc at sowing stage (15.97 g/pot).
