Abstract :Six pea cultivars (Karina, Kosmos, Sprinter, Jofs, Manuel and Bolero) were sown in 3 different sowing dates in 15 April, 23 April, 3 May (1998) and 15 April, 22 April, 1 May (1999) for 2 consecutive years to effect of sowing date and cultivar differences on the seed and quality factors. Experimental design was a Split Plots of randomised blocks in 3 replication. The experiment was established in the experimental site of Konya Rural Affairs Research Station with analyses were performed in the laboratories of Faculty of Agriculture, University of Selcuk, Konya. There have been significant differences between the sowing dates, years and cultivars with respect to seed yield. Year x sowing date x cultivars interaction was also significant on this character. Average of years and cultivars the highest seed yield (168.9 kg/da) was obtained when sown in the first sowing date (15 April). On the other hand, average of years and sowing date the highest seed yield was obtained from Jofs (160.9 kg/da). Considering overall applications, the highest seed yield was obtained from Jofs (216.1 kg/da) from the second sowing date in second year (23 April in 1999). There was no significant variation between the sowing date with respect to quality factors but significant variations were found between cultivars and years. Correlation and Path analyses have shown significant negative relation between seed yield and oil content (-0.206**), while significant direct effect between seed yield protein content, cellulose content and non-nitrogenous pith substances.
