Abstract :Estimates of heritabilities and phenotypic and genetic correlations for pupal and adult weights in the base population of Tribolium confusum were obtained by analysis of variance and covariance of full-sib families. The heritabilities were estimated 0.83 ± 0.11 and 0.16 ± 0.06 for pupal and adult weights, respectively. Phenotypic and genetic correlations between pupal and adult weights were determined as 0.76 ± 0.17 and 0.82 ± 0.20, respectively.
