A Research on Views of Farmer about Some Land Consolidation Applications in Konya-Çumra

Abstract :This research was carried out in Çumra-Türkmenkaralıüyük-Küçükköy. In this study, relations with farmers on consolidation, the ideas of farmers about the land evaluation and level of expectations accomplished from consolidation were investigated using survey techniques. According to the results most farmers did not get benefit from land consolidation project. In both towns, 88% of farmers were not pleased from land consolidation. In addition, dependent on insufficent irrigation water, 100% of farmers complained from irrigation-drainage system that was one of important function of land consolidation project.
