Abstract :Çağdaş Fransız yazınının roman türünde önemli akımlarından birisi Yeni Roman olarak adlandırılan ve roman anlatısını derinden değiştirme çabalarıdır. Bu akımın en önde gelen yazarlarından birisi de çok sayıda yayımladığı romanla bütün dünyada ilgi görmüş Marguerite Duras’dır. Makalede, bu yazarın önemli yapıtlarından birisi olan Konsolos Yardımcısı (Le Vice-Consul) Yeni Roman kuramı bağlamında çözümlenerek, Geleneksel Roman olarak adlandırılan roman türünün hangi yönlerden değişikliğe uğradığı gösterilmektedir. One of the important currents in romantic kind of the contemporary French literature is efforts called New Roman and which try to change fundamentally the romantic story. One of the important authors of this current is Marguerite Duras who had a considerable success all over the world with its novels. In this article, we analyze the Vice-consul, one of Marguerite Duras's important novels and we notice the main changes of the narrative coordinates with regard to Traditional Novel.
