Abstract :Spinoza, insan konusundaki düşüncelerini, Tanrı yada Doğa Kavramından hareketle temellendirir. İnsan, sonlu bir varlık olarak, doğada egemen olan belirlenmişliğe bağlı bir yaşam sürdürür. Buna göre, insanın bütün eylemleri bir belirlenmişlik içindedir. İnsanın en büyük özgürlüğü, bu belirlenmişliğin bilincinde olmasıdır. Öte yandan insanın en büyük erdemi, kendi varlığını koruması ve sürdürmesidir. Doğanın bir parçası olarak insanın özünde bu çaba her zaman vardır. Anahtar Kelimeler: insan, doğa, erdem, özgürlük Abstract: Spinoza, forms his thoughts about human-being by the expression of God or Nature. Man, as a mortal, lives a life deperdent on the determination in the nature. So, all the actions of man is within a determination . The greatest freedom of the man is that he is fully aware of this determination . On the other hand, the biggest virtue of the man is the profection and continuation of his existence.
