Abstract :Özet: Bu çalışmada Daniel Defoe’nun Moll Flanders romanı göstergebilim ilkeleri doğrultusunda dört ana başlık altında ele alınmıştır. Zamansal değişimler açısından kesitleme işlemi gerçekleştirildikten sonra anlatının sözdizimi dörtlü şema ile verilmiştir. Ardından anlatının zamansal ve uzamsal yapısı ile anlamı oluşturan karşıtlıklar ortaya çıkarılmıştır. Çözümlemede aidiyet nesnesi üzerinde durulmuş ve öznenin aidiyet nesnesine ulaşma çabası sergilenmiştir. Anlatıda dönüşüm olarak bir birliktelik durumundan bir ayrılık durumuna geçiş ve sonunda birlikteliğin gerçekleşmesi görülmüştür. Anahtar Kelimeler: göstergebilim, eyleyen, kesitleme, altkesit, uzam, zaman, karşıtlık, zıtlık, aidiyet duygusu, yalnızlık.   Abstract: In this study, the novel Moll Flanders by Daniel Defoe was handled in the light of semiology. After sectionalizing the novel in terms of time, the syntax of the narration was formulated by a four-parted scheme. Later, the structure of time and space and contradictions which construct the meaning were set out. The analysis focused on the sense of belonging which the subject struggled to gain throughout the text. As for transformation, shift from unity to disunity and at the end from disunity to unity was determined.
