Abstract :Özet: Küreselleşme ve teknolojik gelişmelerin etkisiyle takım çalışmasının geldiği sonnokta 'sanal takımlardır'. Sanal takımlar, yapı ve dinamikleri itibari ile birçok sorunugündeme getirirken diğer taraftan bünyesinde taşıdığı potansiyel rekabetçi avantaj vefaydalar itibari ile de gerek iş dünyasının ve gerekse akademik çevrenin dikkatini üzerineçekmiştir. İşletmelerin sanal takımların potansiyel avantajlarından yararlanmaları ancakbu takımları en iyi şekilde yönetmek ve taşıdığı potansiyel problemlerin üstesinden gelmeklemümkün olacaktır.Bu çalışmanın amacı, öncelikle günümüzde ön plana çıkan ve sayıları giderek artanbu takımların başarı unsurlarını ortaya koymaktır. Çalışma, daha başarılı sanal takımlarve dolayısı ile daha başarılı örgütler oluşturmak yolunda büyük katkı sağlayacaktır.Anahtar Kelimeler: Takım, Sanal Takım, Başarı Faktörleri Abstract: With the effect of the globalization and technological advances, the pointthat teams have come is 'virtual teams'. While the virtual teams bring many problems tothe business agenda due to their characteristics and structure, they also have the potentialfor competitive advantages and many benefits. Because of these factors, these teams havetaken the attention of academic and business world. Companies that want to take anadvantage of these teams need to manage them in the best possible way and overcome thepotential problems.The aim of this study is to identify success factors of virtual teams that are increasingand becoming very important in these days. The study is likely to contribute to formingsuccessful virtual teams and indirectly contribute to the success of the organizations.Key Words: Team, Virtual Team and Success factors
