Abstract :Öz: Araştırmamızda ilk sayısı Ocak 1941 yılında ve son sayısı Mart 1944’de yayınlanan “Yurt ve Dünya Dergisi”ndeki köy sosyolojisiyle ilgili veriler ele alınıp incelenmiştir. Köyün bilimsel açıdan ilk kez değerlendirildiği bu dergide köy ve köylü sorunlarına ilişkin sosyolojik bakış açısını bir taraftan gün ışığına çıkarırken, diğer taraftan derginin kendisinden önceki dergilerden farklı olarak köy ve köylü sorununu ele alırken aydınköylü çatışmasını ön plana çıkaran “köycü söylem” yerine “bilimsel söylemi” oturtması üzerinde yoğunlaşılmıştır.
