Abstract :Posters are the graphic products that attract our perception with its stimulant power. The visual hierarchy and focus of the surface influence the need to intensify our perception towards what images in a poster. In terms of communication, one of the images that takes our attention on the surface of the poster is the concept of language which becomes a social sign through writing and typography. The poster design determines the priority of the language in our perception as a communication medium. Today, the position of the poster is very different from that of the past. Poster designers must use more than one language in their designs in order to be more understandable in a rapidly changing and globalizing world. While that multi-language usage served as giving information in the past, today it has become the main feature of poster design. These kind of posters, generally designed to both combine the local and the global and to reach masses by creating a new narrative style, have become common.
