Abstract :ÖZET Halkın diline yerleşmiş pek çok mısra, yüzyıllardan beri söylene söylene mesel haline gelmiştir. Bu mısralar, halka o kadar malolmuştur ki çogunun şairi bile unutulmuştur. Bu çalışmada, Osmanlı döneminde ve günümüzde hazırlanan atasözü derleme. kitaplarında birer atasözü olarak ele alınan 276 mısra tespit edilmiştir. Birçogu günümüzde atasözü olarak kullanllan, şairlerin ögüt verici özlü sözlerini içeren bu 276 mısraın, eserlere ve şairlere göre dagılımları belirlenmiş, böylece divan şiiriyle halk kültürünün etkileşimi gösterilmiştir. ABSTRACT Many verses used by pubhc bccaıne proverbs by bcing stated rcpc:atcdly for many years. Thesc verses became so eommon in pubhc that even poets of most of them are not known now. 276 verses considered as proverbs in proverb anthologies prepared both in Ottoman period and today have bcen found in our study. Useed as proverbs today 276 verses ineluding advicing meaningful phrases have been classified as to the poets and works in our study. In this way the effects of classical Ottoman poetry to public cuIture have been shown once more.
