Abstract :ÖZET Bilindiği gibi Leyla ile Mecnun hikayesi eski edebiyatımızın Yusuf u Züleyha'dan sonra en fazla işlediği mesnevi konusudur. Hikayenin mecazi aşktan ilahi aşka yönelişi anlatmaya son derece müsait yapısı, konunun pek çok Fars ve Türk şairi tarafından yeniden kaleme alınmasına sebep olmuştur. İslam medeniyetinin aşk anlayışını ortaya koyan hikayelerden biri olan Leyla ile Mecnun'u kaleme alan Türk şairlerinden biri de Larendeli Hamdi'dir. Bu makalede Türk edebiyatında Leyla ile Mecnun mesnevısi yazan Türk şairlerinin listesi verilmiş, Larendeli Hamdt'nin eseri kısaca tanıtılıp özetlenmiş ve bireyin gelişimini konu edinen "bildungsroman i dönem roman" türüyle benzerliği araştırılmıştır. As it known the story of "Leyla and Mecnun" the mostly taught subject of mesnevi after "Yusuf and Züleyha" in Turkish Classical Literature. The suitable form eftelling the act of directing from figurative love to heavenly love has caused to be drawn up by many Tranian and Turkish poets again. Hamdi from Larende one of the Turkish poets who draw up the story of "Leyla and Mecnun" which is one of the story poetting down the mentality of love in İslamic civilication In this artiele the list of Turkish poets who writes the mesnevi of "Leyla and Mecnun" has been giyen, the book of Hamdi from Larende has been introduced and summaried shortly and the similarity between the sort of having the subject of personal advance has been studied.
