Abstract :ÖZET Bu çalışma sekiı yıllık temel eğitim uygulamasının ülkemiı açısından yeterli olup olmamasıyla ilgilidir. Bu tUr çalı~maıar çağdaş, bilimsel bir eğitim sisteminin oluşturulması maksadıyla eğitim değerlendirmeleri bakımından gereklidir. Beş yıllık zorunlu temel eğitim sisteminden dünya stand:ırtlarırıa uygun olarak sekiz yıllık temel eğitime geçi~, oldukça önemli ve gerekli bir çalışma alanıdır. Fakat bu tür çalışmalar mevı;ul eğilim sistemimizi çagdaş dünya uygulamalarına ulaştırmak için yeterli midir? Bu sorunuıı cevabını :ır:ıyıp bulmak zorunluluğundayı/.. Gelişmiş lilkelerin temel eğitiııı sistemlerindeki uygulama siired ve zam:ııı sıııırlamaları ba~arııı olmamız için bu konuda bizlere yol gösterici olabilir. ABSTRACT This study is about if the eight-year compulsory educatian in our country is enough or not. il is very necessary for us to evaluate the system to settle a modem scientific educating system. The transformation of a five-year compulsory basic educating system into an eight-year compulsory basic educating system is a very necessary \lnd important variation according to the studying approaches on the world standards. But are oıır activities to develope the present education system to reach the modern world'senough? We have to find out the answer of this question. The durations and the time Iimits of advanced countries' educat.ing systems can help us to be successful.
