Abstract :ÖZET Dil dünyasında emek harcayanlar kullandıkları dili yüceltmek ve onunla yükselmek isterler. Mehmet Kaplan bir edebiyat uzmanı bakışıyla dil üzerindeki görüşlerini çeşitli denemelerinde yansıtmıştır. Bu denemelerinde aynı zamanda Türkçenin problemlerini ele almış ve bu problemlere çözümler sunmuştur. Kaplan’ın üzerinde durduğu problemlerin bir kısmı bugün de güncelliğini koruması bakımından dikkat çekicidir. Bu makalede Mehmet Kaplan’ın dil üzerindeki görüşleri çeşitli açılardan ele alınmıştır. Mehmet Kaplan has delivered his opinions about language from the point of view of a literature expert in his many essays. In these essays, he has dealt with the problems of Turkish language and provided some solutions to them. The matters on which Kaplan has emphasized draw attention as they still maintain their currency.
