Abstract :Our research was carried out with the aim of examining the glass ceiling pressure levels of women working in sports area public and private institutions in Aydın in terms of some variables. The study group of the research consists of female participants working in different sectors in Aydın. Data collection in the study consists of two parts. Personal information form created by the researchers in the first part, Career Pathway Surwey-CPS developed by Smith et al. (2012) and adapted in Turkish by Sarıoğlu (2018) were used in the second part. In the analysis of the data in this study, the SPSS 25.00 package program was used, and it was evaluated at the 95% confidence interval and at the 0.05 significance level. Descriptive statistics were calculated regarding age, marital status, educational status, having a child, position in the institution, professional experience and institution, personal information. It was decided whether the data showed a normal distribution or not by looking at the kurtosis skewness values. In terms of statistics, Independent Sample t test, Anova test, frequency, percentage and reliability coefficient calculations were made. As a result; With the glass ceiling syndromes that female working participants are exposed to; According to the Anova test performed between the age variable, only in the acceptance sub-dimension, in the t-test performed between the marital status variable in the dimensions of endurance and acceptance, in the acceptance dimension according to the t-test performed between the marital status variable, in the acceptance sub-dimension only in the t-test performed between the educational status variable. It is seen that there is a significant difference (p<0.05).
