Abstract :Otuz befl yaflında kadın hasta yavafl büyüyen asemptomatik kitle ile baflvurdu. Kitle, sağ tonsilla palatinayı itmekte ve orofarenjeal bölgede pulsas- yon göstermekteydi. Manyetik rezonans inceleme- sinde, kitlenin karotis bifurkasyonunda eksternal ve internal karotis arterlerde yer değiflikliğine yol açtığı izlendi. Karotis cismi tümörü tanısı manyetik rezo- nans anjiyografi ile desteklendi. Cerrahi tedavi ola- rak, karotis bifurkasyonunda hipoglossus ve vagus korunarak subadventisyal diseksiyon yapıldı. Ameli- yat sonrası dönemde hastada 10. kranyal sinir felci olufltu. Bir yıllık izlem sonunda hastanın sinir felcin- de değifliklik olmadı
