Abstract :Nekrotizan fasiit NF , seyrek görülen ancak hayatı tehdit eden, esas olarak yüzeyel fasya ve deri altı dokuyu tutan bir yumuşak doku enfeksi- yonudur. Yüksek mortalite ile sonuçlanan sistemik toksisite, sadece erken tanı, geniş spektrumlu antibiyotikler ve cerrahi girişim ile engellenebilir. Nekrotizan fasiit baş-boyun bölgesinde oldukça nadir yerleşir. Bu yazıda, 75 yaşında bir kadın hastanın boynunda yerleşen ve fatal seyreden NF olgusu sunuldu ve bu nadir enfeksiyonun mik- robiyolojisi, tanısı, tedavisi ve prognozu literatür verileriyle birlikte gözden geçirildi
