Abstract :Kemalist Thought System: Kemalism Mustafa Kemal, the leader of the world wars of independence, has set up a new unitary Turkish state and pointed out the way and method of the modernization to the state. This model, which has been implemented by the Turkish Revolution, is named as "Kemalism". Kemalism, which is a guarantee of the Republic of Turkey to keep alive forever, is a consecutive multi-directional thought system that makes up a whole. Kemalism is not a "totalitarian - dogmatic" but is a "democratic and pragmatic" set of principles. Because the only idea left from- the spiritual heritage of- Ataturk to the Turkish nation is the “reason and science". The aim of our research is to emphasize that, as was in the past, "Kemalist Thought System", which has guided the "Turkish Revolution", is still an effective method that can be used to solve the problems that will be encountered currently and in the future. In this investigation, Kemalism, which constitute the ideational basis of the “Turkish Revolution", was evaluated in a holistic approach based on the actions and statements of Mustafa Kemal.
