Abstract :In the present study, new Schiff base compound insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(Z);-4-insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(quinolin-2-ylmethyleneamino);methyl);phenol insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(3);, its phthalonitrile derivative insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(Z);-4-insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(4-insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(quinolin-2-ylmethyleneamino);methyl);phenoxy);phthalonitrile insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(4); were synthesized in the first step. Then, zincinsert ignore into journalissuearticles values(II); insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(Pc‒5);, cobaltinsert ignore into journalissuearticles values(II); insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(Pc‒6); and copperinsert ignore into journalissuearticles values(II); insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(Pc‒7); phthalocyanines containing Schiff base group with quinolin moiety on peripheral positions were synthesized. All new compounds were characterized by general spectroscopic techniques. Aggregation properties of the obtained metallophthalocyanines were researched in polar and apolar solvents.
Keywords : Aggregation, Metallophthalocyanine, Phthalocyanine, Schiff base
