Abstract :This study evaluates the harmony of urban furniture with urban identity in the Diyarbakır Sur district regarding aesthetics, functionality, and historical integrity. Melikahmet Street, Gazi Street, and Alipaşa Neighborhood were selected as the research area. Lighting elements, fountains, information boards, pavements, seating elements, plant crates, and waste bins were analysed using the observational method. The evaluation criteria were size-proportion balance, color-environment material harmony, originality, functionality, maintenance, perceptibility, historical significance, and naturalness. The findings show that the functionality of urban furniture is sufficient, but there are deficiencies in aesthetic harmony and integration with the historical texture. In particular, it was determined that the modern design approach is incompatible with the historical texture, and maintenance deficiencies negatively affect the aesthetic perception. As a result, it is recommended that urban furniture be renewed with original designs that support the historical identity, sustainability should be increased by using natural materials, and regular maintenance should be carried out. In addition, it is emphasized that the functionality of urban spaces should be increased with ergonomic and disability-friendly designs. Keywords : Estetik uyum, tarihî dokular, peyzaj mimarlığı, kentsel donatı elemanları, kentsel kimlik
