ANALYSIS OF THE ATTITUDES OF PARTICIPANTS IN `A PINCH OF SCIENCE, A WORLD OF FESTIVITY 2024`

Abstract :Science festivals are organized to disseminate scientific knowledge, increase interest in science, and enhance scientific thinking skills. This study was conducted to determine the opinions of students who participated in the \\\"A Pinch of Science, A World of Festivity 2024\\\" project, which was deemed worthy of support under the TÜBİTAK 4007 Science Festivals Support Program. The project, held in the Ezine district of Çanakkale Province, featured 21 different workshops and attracted 5,000 participants. A sample of 357 participants was reached through convenience sampling. The data were collected using a Personal Information Form and the Science Festival Attitude Scale, and analyzed using pre-test and post-test methods in the SPSS program. The findings of the study indicate that science festivals increase participants\\\' interest in scientific knowledge, enhance their scientific thinking skills, and positively impact social interactions.
