Abstract :Concrete is a brittle material with low tensile strength and tensile unit strain. Due to these weak characteristics of concrete, there is a need for improvement. In line with this goal, efforts are made to enhance the weak properties of concrete by incorporating fibers with high technical specifications, produced from various materials, into the concrete. In this study, the effect of waste fibers used in mixtures at ratios of 0.5%, 1%, 1.5%, and 2%, while keeping the cement content constant in the created concrete mixtures, on the physical and mechanical properties of the concrete was investigated. Standard cube specimens were produced for compressive strength testing. As the fiber ratio increases, the thermal conductivity value decreases, and it is believed to have a positive impact on thermal insulationKeywords : Concrete, Fibers, Waste fibers, Fiber reinforced concrete
