Abstract :A male specimen of Ammothella biunguiculata (Dohrn, 1881) is found in Fethiye Bay (Mediterranean coast of Türkiye) at 1.0 m depth in August 2019. A. biunguiculata is recorded the first time from the Fethiye Bay and the Turkish Mediterranean coast of Türkiye and also the second time from the eastern Mediterranean Sea in this paper. The report further extends the known distribution of this species from the Aegean Sea to the Mediterranean coast of Türkiye in the eastern Mediterranean Sea. Distribution map of the species in the eastern Mediterranean Sea is provided, together with photograph and line drawing of the species.
