Abstract :Samsun, Çarşamba İlçesi Yaycılar- Şeyh Habil köyü Camii plan ve mimari özellikleriyle dikkati çeken yapılardandır. Derinlemesine planlı ve mihrap duvarına paralel dört sahınlıdır. Anadolu Selçuklu, Beylikler ve Osmanlı dönemlerinde çift sahınlı camilerin sayısının az oluşu camiye önem kazandırıyor. Diğer yandan tümüyle ahşaptan yapılması bölgesel karakteri yansıtmaktadır. Cami, günümüze gelinceye kadar çeşitli onarımlar geçirmesine karşın, orijinal kısımları çoğunluktadır. Plan özelliğinin yanı sıra tümüyle ahşaptan yapılması ile Anadolu Selçuklu döneminde seçkin bir yere sahiptir. Anahtar Kelime: Yaycılar-Şeyh Habil Köyü Camii   Abstract: The Mosque of Yaycılar – Şeyh Habil willage, Çarşamba- Samsun is one of the structures arousing attention with its plan and architectural characteristics. It is in- depth planned and it has four aisles running paralell to the mihrab wall. It gives importance to the mosque as the number of double- aisle mosques is less in the periods of the Anatolian Seljuk, Emirate Period and the Ottoman. On the other hand, it reflects the local characteristic as it was wholly constructed with wood. Althought the mosque has been variously restored till to date, its orijinal parts are in the majority. The mosque has an outstanding place in the Anatolian Seljuk period as it was wholly constructed with wood besides its plan characteristic. Key Words: The Mosque of Yaycılar-Şeyh Habil Village
