Abstract :The article considers copper lamps in the mausoleum of Khoja Ahmed Yasavi dating from the year 1397, as well as their manufacturing and decoration. The analysis of the value of copper lamps as the works of Islamic art, their manufacturing and placement, as well as the relationship with the objects of material culture, found in ancient and medieval Otrar oasis is given. The significance of the ancient folk beliefs and rituals associated with fire and lamps is narrated herein.
