Abstract :It is known that the genre aitys in many Turkic peoples studied in various ways. The author in the article provides an overview on the study of genre aitys in Karakalpaks, Turkish Turks, Kazakhs. Especially Kazakh folklore genre aitys wider concerns and expresses a modern point of view about it.
