Abstract :The article analyzes the source base of the historical work of a well-known Kazakh poet, philosopher and historian Shakarim Kudayberdiuly. In particular, the Arab, Persian, Turkish books and their authors, with whom he was acquainted, as in the libraries of Istanbul in 1906. Especially traced creative relationships with Turkish historians such as Necip Asym Yazyksyza and Mizanchi Mehmet Murat.
