Abstract :Türkiye’de çok geniş bir yayılış alanı gösteren Fritillaria cinsine ait 41 takson bulunmakta olup bunun 19 tanesi endemik türler arasında yer almaktadır. Anadolu’da Fritillaria`ların farklı türlerine; ağlayan gelin, ters lale, imparator çiçeği, kral tacı, dağ lalesi, şılır, ters kupa gibi Türkçe isimler verilmiştir.
