Abstract :Two new localities of Leucoagaricus barssii Zeller Vellinga, a rare fungus in Ukraine, were characterized. A pure culture of the fungus was obtained, cultural-morphological features of this species were studied, and a possibility to obtain fertile fruit bodies in vitro was demonstrated. These results open up the prospect for recovery of populations of this rare fungus in nature
